ABOUT ALEX OSBORN
I’m a third-year Commerce student at Queen’s Smith who’s curious about how finance, technology, and entrepreneurship intersect to build lasting ventures. My focus has been strategy and venture capital, but I’m also developing a broader toolkit through school, market research, analytics, and clear communication. This past summer, I interned at RBCx on the Strategy & Analyst team, contributing to crypto strategy development and auto finance R&D, which gave me firsthand experience in how innovation translates into growth opportunities.On campus, I serve as Sponsorship Director for the Queen’s Entrepreneurship Competition (QEC), leading sponsorship efforts and partnerships for one of Canada’s premier undergraduate business competitions. I’ve also built and scaled several entrepreneurial projects, from e-commerce ventures to blockchain-focused communities.Outside of academics, I am an aspiring golfer who competes in tournaments and has represented Queen’s at the National Golf Championship. I also enjoy playing tennis and soccer.
