I am a 29 year plant manufacturing operations and quality professional, with in-depth experience in operations and production management. I have strong interpersonal communication skills, and I am able to effectively communicate goals, objectives, and procedures to others. Throughout my experience I have helped develop and implement company operating procedures and oversaw the execution of rolling these procedures to all levels of the organization. Everything begins and ends around safety/safe work environments.Helping to formulate the process strategies of 5S, Standard Work, Workplace Organization, and Total Productive Management, I communicate well across other business centers throughout the organization in developing these processes and designing programs to see that they are successfully deployed throughout the organization. Implementing and sustaining systems through the use of audit heijunka, HBH boards, short term and long term boards (many other Lean Tools) to ensure forward progress, never backwards. I am a detail oriented, self-motivated professional with excellent problem solving, technical, and people skills which allow me to connect well with others. Supporting my career I obtained my BS in Management (Econ-Finance) from the University of Tennessee, Martin. Although I do not hold a Six Sigma certification, I have used and implemented Six-Sigma methodologies and other LEAN tools for improvement throughout my professional career. I am interested in transitioning my professional skills into a new position as a Operations Manager/Plant Manager or Manager of Operational Excellence for a Manufacturing company that prides itself on culture and progress through strategic data based information.I have experience in both union and non-union environments. Both have their pros and cons, from which you can learn as a operations management professional. I am a leader that does not know the word quit, I like to use all my background and experience to make it happen every day. Can\'t do isn\'t in my vocabulary. Seeking the root cause and moving ahead is what I am about. One of my strongest assets is a sense or urgency (GSD), I take pride in crossing the T\'s, dotting the I\'s.
