Responsible for the running of High Risk Nights Hygiene Micro reduction, Listeria control, Micro investigation, Microbiological & ATP swabs.Accident investigations completed, actively promoting Health & Safety while always looking for ways to clean safer, via continuous improvement. Tracking accidents and near misses, actively promoting a safe working environment. Conducting daily Hygiene audits, coaching team members on the level of strip down & cleaning. Training and development of hygiene staff, conducting regular performance reviews with all hygiene operatives,(training matrix is currently at over 80%, with individuals being promoted to section leaders / managers). Writing and implementation of cleaning schedules. Downtime reduction (sat at less than 2 issues per week).Producing and conducting regular team briefings. Producing a comprehensive KPI breakdown (labour, PPE usage, chemical spends).Ensuring Hygiene operatives are recruited as and when needed. Managing disciplinary, grievance and absence issues while maintaining a good working relationship with all the staff. Responsible for 70 Hygiene operatives, two Section Managers & two section Leaders.
