ABOUT ALEX MONTGOMERY

As a certified public accountant and a recent graduate from Santa Clara University, I have a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, as well as a fluency in Spanish. I have applied my skills and knowledge to various projects and roles in the financial services, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors, demonstrating my versatility and adaptability.Most recently, I worked as an audit associate at CohnReznick LLP, a top 15 public accounting firm, where I was part of the Financial Services Group that provides audit and tax services to private equity funds, hedge funds, and debt funds in the real estate industry. I collaborated with FSG members from across the country and offshore teams in India and the Philippines, conducting financial statement audits and reviews for clients in diverse industries. While studying for my CPA, I got to see the financial side of film and television production while working part-time at RC Baral & Company, a production services and accounting firm based in Encino. Additionally, I contributed to the Emergency Rental Assistance Subsidy Program project with the Los Angeles Housing Rights Center as a navigator, assisting tenants who faced eviction and displacement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.I am passionate about the entertainment and creative industries, and I seek to leverage my accounting skills and Spanish language proficiency to pursue opportunities in these fields. I am motivated by the challenges and rewards of working in dynamic and innovative environments, where I can learn from others and grow as a professional. I value teamwork, integrity, and excellence, and I strive to deliver high-quality results that meet the needs and expectations of my clients and stakeholders.
