Rural King, America’s Farm and Home Store, is a third-generation family-owned company providing essentials to the communities we serve. Our founders planted the Rural King roots in Mattoon, Illinois in 1960 and to this day, our flagship store, Store Support Center, and one of our two main distribution and transportation centers reside in Mattoon. Over the past 65 years Rural King has grown to 149 retail locations across 17 states, with plans to add an additional 15 stores in 2026. Our locations have an outstanding product mix with items such as livestock feed, farm equipment, agricultural parts, lawn mowers, workwear, fashion clothing, housewares and toys. You never know what you will find at your local Rural King and that’s why every trip is an adventure.
