I work across the CMA\'s various competition policy tools and a broad variety of sectors. I specialise in pharmaceutical and medtech mergers and the role of sustainability considerations in antitrust enforcement.My particular area of interest is the role of competition policy and consumer law in the achievement of sustainability objectives, principally Net Zero. This brings together my academic research and my experience as a professional economist with a competition economics specialism and a background in policymaking in central government.Sectors I have experience in include: price regulated pharmaceutical medicines; medical technology; aggregates and construction materials; road fuels; commodity price benchmarks; and mobile telecoms.
