Contract Type: ConsultancyProject Name: Stratford WaterfrontThe Stratford Waterfront project is to form part of the new Culture and Education District within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London. It will include new buildings for the Victoria & Albert Museum, Sadler\'s Wells, the BBC, and the London College of Fashion, a new pedestrian bridge (Carpenters Land Bridge) adjoining the London College of Fashion building, and International Quarter development on the opposite side of the site, and external public realm areas. Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee planning, scheduling, and budget management for complex construction projects- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through every project phase- Foster a collaborative environment across diverse teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals- Prioritize proactive risk management, anticipating and solving problems to prevent impacts on timelines or costs- Implement procurement plans to mitigate potential material shortages and maintain project schedules- Ensure high standards of quality and safety compliance, utilizing tools like BIM and Boris to enhance project efficiency and sustainability- Manage fire stopping compliance by implementing clear protocols and conducting regular audits with architects and consultants- Coordinate with third parties, such as manufacturers, to conduct scheduled checks and address issues early- Develop well-defined schedules for builders works, coordinating activities with other trades to reduce rework and avoid conflicts- Establish phased plans for critical path sections to minimize delays and maintain project milestones- Maintain comprehensive punch lists and hold regular review meetings to ensure efficient close-out processes- Coordinate with all stakeholders, including subcontractors and client representatives, to achieve seamless final stages and client satisfaction.
