ABOUT ALEX LIPSCOMBE
I am a graduate from Cardiff university where I studied Genetics, a degree I am passionate about and has expanded both my scientific and non-scientific skills alike. In terms of science, I have vastly expanded my knowledge, developing an interest in the molecular pathology and possible treatment of mental illnesses, a topic I feel strongly about and was the focal point of my final year project. I have developed my critical analysis skills, statistical skills and research skills (both literature based and lab based) to a level at which i am confident in working individually if required. I am also very outgoing and confident when working with a team, and am not afraid to seek help to improve. Overall, if I were to describe myself in 3 words they would be; confident, inquisitive and determined.
