After developing the curriculum for the Advancement Leadership Lab (ALL) 3-year pilot experience in 2018 and advising while at Ohio State, we launched ALL as a 501c3 startup, where I joined full time as its inaugural executive director in 2022. My role focuses on ALL’s growth strategy, business operations, alumni experience, and overseeing our board of directors and stakeholder partnerships.The Advancement Leadership Lab is a leadership development focused 501c3 and educational service; an immersive experience targeting a diverse group of high performing leaders to examine themselves, their teams, and their organizations at a critical point in their careers, in order to succeed at the highest level. The experience leads to a lifelong learning community among peers in the Advancement industry and a ripple effect of influence across universities worldwide. Since 2018, this experience has graduated over 200 senior leaders and has impacted thousands of team members through the exercises, philosophies, and day to day leadership experiences cultivated in the lab.
