I develop strategies built on regulatory intelligence to translate financial, technological, and market complexities into impactful policy frameworks. My career spans 20+ years as a regulator, attorney, and financial services professional – currently, I focus on emerging technologies reshaping financial markets. As a strategist and policymaker, I understand and anticipate fintech, cybersecurity, and global regulatory trends. I collaborate internally and with leaders in industry, academia, and regulators, to create strategies and governance structures to respond to these trends. Our shared goal is to support investor protection and market integrity. As a builder, I design and implement systems to improve how regulatory content is structured and accessed. This work aligns policy, technology, and user experience to turn regulatory complexity into streamlined compliance. Highlighting these efforts is my role developing a comprehensive taxonomy-based and API-integrated machine-readable rulebook. Leveraging AI-enabled knowledge, I advance these capabilities through internal R&D projects, which have been recognized for their contributions to financial and regulatory innovation. Previously, I served at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, working on post-2008 data protection issues, financial regulatory reform, and cross-border strategy. At White & Case, I advised on complex international disputes involving financial services and infrastructure. My career began at a global financial institution, supporting derivatives trading and operational recovery after 9/11. I believe financial regulation should function as adaptive infrastructure – structured, accessible, and evolving alongside markets and technology – while preserving transparency and trust.
