ABOUT ALEX KARGHER

Alex Kargher is a litigation partner at Sinclair Braun. His practice focuses on litigating and trying to verdict complex business, real estate, trust & estate, and entertainment disputes. Alex has successfully litigated high-stakes disputes in a variety of industries including the health care industry, art, film and television distribution, construction, food manufacturing, real estate, and trust and estates. In addition to successfully taking cases through appeal, Alex routinely helps clients devise strategies for addressing complex issues and disputes. He brings to every client engagement a thoughtful strategy and a combination of business acumen and creativity. Alex has played a key role in myriad matters, including successfully defending a major corporate trustee in a long-running suit brought by beneficiaries seeking $100 million in surcharge damages and other relief, and obtaining dismissal of a multimillion-dollar wrongful death lawsuit brought against a nationwide transportation company.Alex is actively involved in pro bono activities. In that capacity he has represented a rabbi in connection with the founding of a new synagogue, assisted a community group in obtaining commitments for the development of affordable housing in conjunction with a large scale entertainment development, and often provides guidance on issues including defamation and rights of publicity to various individuals and entities. Alex is also involved in his community and serves on the board of NefeshLA. Prior to joining Sinclair Braun, Alex was a partner in Cozen O\'Connor nationally recognized litigation practice. He previously spent eight years at Glaser Weil, a premier full-service law firm helping clients win bet-the-company cases across many industries, including numerous high-profile contract and intellectual property disputes in the entertainment and media communities.
