ABOUT ALEX HOOKWAY

Alex is a Partner at PwC with extensive experience leading complex international group audits. Alex focuses primarily on the Technology, Media, Telecoms and Business Services sectors, working with clients through ongoing financial and regulatory reporting, capital market fundraisings, and strategic M&A transactions.Key skills and experience include:• Significant capital market and financing experience, including advising on IPO (UK and US), Class 1 acquisition, rights issue and private placing, including US s144a offerings.• Financial Due diligence, including preparation of buy and sell side due diligence reports, deal structuring and SPA drafting advice.• Extensive technical knowledge covering IFRS, UK and US GAAP, notably having been central to a number of IFRS conversion projects for UK Main and AIM listed groups.• Strong working knowledge of external reporting regulations including the Listing Rules, the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the FSA Prospectus Rules, the UK Corporate Governance Code and the UK Companies Act.• Extensive experience of working with international-parented companies, including the implementation of and ongoing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, and the restructuring of the UK and European statutory audits to deliver a more efficient integrated statutory audit process.
