I’m currently finishing my Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams with APS left to complete, having completed my ATT qualification (Dec 2024) and achieved MAAT status. My academic background includes the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting (Level 4) and Advanced Diploma (Level 3), forming a strong foundation for my tax career. At Streets Chartered Accountants, I lead the Personal Tax Compliance team. I manage a varied portfolio of private clients including HNWIs, non-residents, entrepreneurs, and sole traders. I’m responsible for overseeing day-to-day compliance tasks, monitoring work in progress, hitting billing targets, and ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery. My work includes: • Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns and SME Corporate Tax Returns • Salary vs. Dividend planning for directors • PAYE Coding Notice reviews • Advising on allowances, reliefs, and tax-efficient strategies • HMRC registrations and disclosures Alongside compliance, I support senior Tax Partners with advisory projects including: • Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning • Property tax strategies and incorporations • Corporate restructuring • HMRC disclosures (Let Property Campaigns, offshore income) As a team leader, I’m passionate about developing others. I mentor junior staff, manage workloads, and help colleagues progress through structured feedback and ongoing support. I actively contribute to our apprenticeship programme, helping nurture the next generation of tax professionals. I value continuous learning, self-improvement, and people-focused leadership—balancing strategic thinking with empathy and clear communication. Outside of work, I’ve volunteered with the Sea Cadet Corps since 2010, now serving as an Officer and Royal Navy Reservist. I’ve gained instructor qualifications in paddlesports, rowing, windsurfing, and dinghy sailing, and I support youth development through the Duke of Edinburgh Award as a Supervisor and Assessor. I hold an ILM Level 3 in Leadership & Management and current First Aid at Work certification. My voluntary and professional experiences have helped me grow as a confident leader, team player, and advisor.
