About Alex Gutierrez

I am a people and results-focused operations leader with substantial experience leading strategic planning, operations, human resources management, and driving continuous improvements. As Director of Operations at Elite Gunite and Shotcrete, I lead daily operations from business development activities and customer relations to managing employee relations and production planning to ensure we achieve our customer commitments and goals. From 2006 – 2020, I was Operations Manager for BPS Supply Group and oversaw operations for 26 branches across six states with 300+ employees. At BPS, I planned and executed human resources goals and objectives in alignment with the strategic plan and organizational needs. I worked as a strategic business partner with their CEO and executive team to improve their strategies, processes, and policies. We worked together to develop best practices in employee administration, relations, and career development, which resulted in improved employee satisfaction, productivity, and tenure with the company. At Sears Logistics Services, where I worked from 1993 – 2007, I started as a loss prevention manager and progressed to a senior human resources manager.
