I am a Data Scientist and Computational Neuroscientist at Stanford University as a part of the Stanford Artificial Retina Project. In my PhD research, I worked on large scale analysis of massive (TBs) raw electrophysiological data sets using a variety of signal and image processing, statistical, machine learning and deep learning methods.Some of my projects included- Developing an end-to-end pipeline for estimating image quality from artificial neural stimulation using linear-nonlinear cascade models, linear reconstruction, convex optimization and deep convolutional autoencoders- Training convolutional neural networks and implementing a convolutional non-negative matrix factorization method to model responses of several hundred neurons to stimulation with naturalistic images from ImageNet- Developing a post-processing method to correct clustering algorithm assignment errors caused by electrical artifacts using dimensionality reduction and discriminant analysis
