    Responsible engineer for the mechanical systems integration of the ICS-IP vacuum chamber. The ICS-IP chamber is the nexus of CXLS, as the interaction point (IP) is where the powerful IR laser overlaps the electron beam spatially and temporally to generate X-Rays that will be used for experiments. • Precisely installed ICS-IP vacuum chamber and supporting structures into CXLS beamline with IPT. • Implemented the ICS-IP open frame test setup to enable full systems readiness tests for over 25 stages, 7 cameras, and several LED’s. • Created the specification for the ICS-IP controls GUI’s and collaborated with IPT to execute a test plan of all systems before installation into the chamber. • Collaborated with consultants and vendors to enable EPICS control of all ICS-IP stages and cameras. • Integrated all the internal optical assemblies that were paramount for generating CXLS’ first X-rays. • Responsible for planning and executing the deployment of the Experimental and Detector vacuum chambers. • Created standard operating procedures for building and launching IOC’s and starting the Pharos laser. • Created dimensional drawing for the Z-Positions of all critical beamline components (LINACs, magnets, cameras, etc) • Designed, assembled, and integrated the in-line electron beam dump end station for CXLS.
