I was wanting more responsibility and more field experience so in November 2020 I transitioned to the assistant super role at NC540 that I still hold today. I started out managing subcontractor support work for MSE walls and noise walls and evolved my crews into self-performed grading work and miscellaneous concrete work. Currently leading a team of 10+ operators and skilled laborers laying road base, installing permanent barrier walls, and building rock-lined and concrete ditches while still supporting noise wall subcontractors. I\'m building an all-star team to go build many more projects.
