Bullpen Catcher Catching Development @Chicago Cubs

In this role, I work with our catchers and pitchers in Arizona. I’ve taken on catcher development responsibilities at the complex. In this role, I create individual plans for our ACL catchers and assist with return-to-play programs for MiLB and MLB players catchers that are rehabbing. Also, I conduct catcher meetings and After Action Reviews to go over games that have been played.Day-to-Day, I throw batting practice, hit fungos, catch bullpens, and help with pitcher development. This includes assisting with throwing programs and giving feedback with pitch design. I collaborate closely with our pitching coordinators, catching coordinators, and strength/medical staff to keep development consistent across the organization.
