In addition, Aegis also provides counseling, case management, social work, referrals to community resources, educational programs, eligibility work, vocational rehabilitation and nutritional counseling. Aegis also collaborates with governmental regulatory agencies. These agencies include the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration / Center of Substance Abuse Treatment (SAMHSA/CSAT), the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as well as the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (CADP) and the county offices of alcohol and drug programs.
