ABOUT ALEX DENT
Alex Dent is an Associate Director in the Geotechnical Team based in WSP\'s Hertford office. Alex is also the AGS Geotechnical Working Group Leader.Alex is a Chartered Geologist with over 20 years experience in ground engineering. He has both UK and international experience, covering a wide variety of ground conditions, market sectors and deliverables. He works closely with his geo-environmental, civil and structural engineering colleagues so as to provide ‘joined up’ cost effective engineering solutions.Specialisms: Alex has extensive experience of the design of foundations, basements, earthworks and the assessment of slope stability and ground movements.One of the projects that Alex was responsible for was selected as a finalist in the Ground Engineering Awards 2016 and was \'Highly Commended\' in NCE100 Awards 2018.
