ABOUT ALEX DE CASTROVERDE

Everything my brother and I have is because of the sacrifices of our father, Waldo De Castrovede, who passed away in 2014. He was a Cuban immigrant, Bay of Pigs veteran, and he attended law school at night while he worked full time at a casino dealing blackjack – all while raising four children. He started his own law office in Reno in 1989 and then opened an office in Las Vegas in 1993. I became an attorney in In 2005, building on what our father started, my brother, Orlando, and I formed De Castroverde Law Group. Today, we employ more than 20 attorneys and 100 team members. The firm now has two offices in Las Vegas, one in Henderson, one in Reno and one in Oakland, California. The attorneys at our office focus on personal injury, immigration and criminal defense. Our criminal defense team is appropriately known as the \"Vegas Dream Team.\" Our goal is to continue to build upon our father\'s legacy and to continue to grow the firm by treating our clients and our team like family. The sky is the limit if you surround yourself with exceptional people and if each day you strive to improve the systems and processes that are in place to best serve our clients. I’m very active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Cristo Rey St. Viator Las Vegas College Preparatory and the Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Priorities. Additionally, I serve on the advisory counsel for the nonprofit news outlet The Nevada Independent and am a Committee Member for the Las Vegas Bowl Committee. My wife and I were married in 2008 and we have three beautiful daughters.
