ABOUT ALEX CROMPTON

Global Head of Security Consulting Practice and Profession for BAE Systems Digital Intelligence since January 2018. This followed 18 months as Head of Cyber Technical Services covering security testing, threat intelligence and cyber incident response services. Prior to these leadership roles, and for the previous 16 years with BAE Systems Applied Intelligence (previously known as Detica and Smith Group), Alex covered a number of management and delivery roles. These included security consulting sector lead for telecoms, and lead security consultant across a range of sectors such as government, commercial, telecoms, transport and financial services. During the past decade, Alex has worked within the information assurance, risk and security architecture domains. Alex\'s early career involved working within the government, defence and transport sectors on a number of projects in the safety, assurance, security, law enforcement, and compliance and accreditation space; roles included project and programme manager, accreditation manager, technical consultant and security consultant. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (FCIIS).
