ABOUT ALEX COLLINS
My name is Alex and I am an apprentice at the BBC, currently in a hybrid role based in both MediaCity, Salford and my home in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.Having achieved my A Levels, I decided to seek opportunities to work and travel overseas in Australia and Asia for around a year, before returning to the UK to pursue a degree and establish a career. I am currently working within the Business Management & Administration (BMA) team. I feel like this is a very suitable position for me as my role allows me to get full exposure to many elements of what is such a large business. I am a hard-working, resourceful and ambitious person who can work functionally in both team and independent environments. I am a very capable communicator and enjoy taking initiative. Additionally, I like to seek out new opportunities wherever possible and I am eager to adapt and learn in new, innovative ways.
