ABOUT ALEX COCHRAN
I currently own and operate Gloria Jean Farms, LLC located in Springfield, Kentucky. At Gloria Jean Farms, we are focused on providing consumers with a healthy and sustainable fruit or vegetable at a price point consistent with what is found in grocery stores. I believe fully in building and establishing close relationships with my clients in order to maximize their culinary experience. We offer a multitude of services ranging from roadside stands to a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. We also work with wholesale buyers, local grocery chains, and school systems to provide local produce at a wholesale level. I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where I obtained a bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics. I am extremely interested in scientific research and development in the agricultural field and exploring the profitability of different forms of production, technologies, and management strategies. In my free time, I am an avid outdoorsman. Rain or shine there is a very good chance that if I am free I will be on the lake, in the woods, or on a hike.
