ABOUT ALEX CHO
Alex Cho is a 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting artist with a strong interest in visual storytelling through the digital medium. His work has a focus on stylized characters and environments with strong lighting and direction to complement visual, animated storytelling. As far back as his middle school years, Alex was captivated by the groundbreaking animated films and sci-fi/fantasy action films introduced to him by his parents. This experience was the most formative part of Alex’s life and lead him on the path to where he is now. For years, Alex has pondered how such visual magic was conceived behind the scenes, and this question has brought him to the realm of visual art. Alex graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a degree in Illustration in 2017. With a solid background in drawing and painting, Alex looked to Los Angeles to get closer to his goals of working in entertainment and eventually enrolled at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects to expand his skillsets to the realm of 3D art. He graduated in the Summer of 2020 and still resides in Los Angeles, always ready to learn and open for work in the entertainment industry.
