For over two decades, I have tried cases to verdict in practically every venue in South Carolina, including Federal Court, Circuit Court, Family Court, Probate Court and Magistrate’s Court. Over the years, my practice has gradually become concentrated predominantly in Family Court matters. I have represented a wide range of clients in the family court involving such issues as custody, property division, alimony, prenuptial agreements, relocation, complex business valuation, restraining orders, domestic abuse, rules to show cause, and other aspects of family law. It is my goal to be efficient in the handling of a case and attempt to resolve it as expediently as circumstances will allow for clients so that they can move on with their lives. I handle both routine cases which are settled amicably as well as highly complex and contentious family court matters involving custody disputes and litigation over multi-million dollar marital estates. I have also handled a large number of personal injury cases for clients over more than two decades. These cases have involved matters ranging from smaller cases to more significant multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts in dram shop, product liability, medical malpractice and/or wreck cases. Each case is unique.
