About Alex Cameron

After spending many years in the science field specializing in bioassays and cell culture, I shifted my career to follow my passion for science education and community engagement. I am now Biogen\'s Community Engagement and Foundation Lead. With over 5 years of experience in community outreach, science education, and nonprofit work, I am delighted to promote and inspire the next generation of young community leaders. Through my work with the Biogen Foundation and CoLab, I am able to connect with nonprofits, students, and community members focused in Boston, Massachusetts and RTP, North Carolina. I am active in partnerships, communications, and projects that build Biogen\'s corporate reputation, further ESG initiatives across the company, and make a difference in the communities where Biogen employees live and work.I am passionate about ensuring that all young people, regardless of background, race, gender identity, income level, etc. get access to quality science experiences and are able to see themselves in careers throughout the STEM field.
