ABOUT ALEX CADET

I am a partner in the KPMG Audit Practice and provide high-quality financial statement audits and advisory services to our clients. I serve both SEC and private clients with extensive experience with SEC filings, serving global and domestic clients, supervising large teams and collaborating cross-functionally. I am passionate about providing a better audit experience for our clients, organizations and the capital markets. I completed a 3-year rotation with KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP). While on rotation with DPP, I served in the PCAOB Inspections Group, Accounting Standards Group, and the Integrated Inquires Group where I guided engagement teams through complex financial matters and authored accounting guidance included in various publications.I am passionate about unlocking the power of all of our people and actively involved in KPMG’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion priorities. As a local leader in KPMG’s African Ancestry Business Resource Group, I am invested in recruiting, mentoring, and developing professionals from underrepresented groups.I believe in supporting our communities and helping others through service. I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Junior Achievement, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Hands on Atlanta and KPMG’s Family for Literacy.
