Provide pharmacy consultation services to residents of long-term care facilities spread across the state of New Mexico• Medication regimen reviews and recommendations• Medication Therapy Management (MTM)• Controlled and non-controlled drug destruction• Inspect and make recommendations on medication storage, handling anddocumentation• Site meetings with facility leadership and director of nursing• Quarterly meetings with facility leadership, director of nursing, medical director and allied staff• Provide in services and education on a variety of topics such as: psychotropics, medication storage/handling/documentation and Board of Pharmacy and CMS laws and regulations• Partner with Omnicare dispensing pharmacists and Account Managers to improve customer service relations• Liaison between facility leadership and regulatory bodies including New Mexico Board of Pharmacy Inspectors and Department of Health Surveyors
