About Alex Berti
Venezuelan-American bassist, arranger, and educator with extensive experience in jazz, Latin American music, and symphonic collaborations.I have created orchestral arrangements and orchestrations for internationally recognized artists including Rubén Blades and Oscar D’León, with performances by major ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra under conductors like Gustavo Dudamel and Diego Matheuz. My work has also been presented at venues including Lincoln Center and the Hollywood Bowl.Beyond performance and orchestration, I am deeply committed to music education and mentorship, working with young musicians and developing projects that connect jazz improvisation, Latin American traditions, and orchestral music.I continue to develop new artistic projects, collaborations, and educational initiatives that bring together diverse musical communities.
