I have built my career on my ability to analyse and solve problems with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset. Responsible for the sizing, implementation and management of complex strategies across multi-billion pound portfolios.* Considerable experience in portfolio management, including- Sizing, implementing and managing complex strategies across a wide variety of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives as well as equities, bonds and collectives- Hedging and management of currency/FX exposure- Identifying and mitigating front office operational risk, especially in the use of business-critical Excel spreadsheets- Delivering efficient, streamlined front office processes through appropriate levels of automation.* Extensive expertise in MS Excel including VBA, SQL database integration and automation.* Designed and developed a comprehensive on-desk implementation platform to meet the needs of highly complex investment mandates, delivering- Flexibilty of fund and strategy construction- Efficiency through automation- A tightly controlled operational risk framework.* Developed and managed the process and platform for implementation of the MyFolio range of Fund-of-Funds. Designed the Intelligent Rebalancing algorithm to deliver efficient rebalancing and cashflow allocation within tight tracking-error tolerances.* Additional experience in fund pricing, box liability management and passive fund rebalancing strategies as well as Life Assurance and Pensions products including SIPP.
