Based at Devon County Hall, I work on policy/strategy/partnerships (not party political) across Devon County Council, Devon & Cornwall Police, NHS Devon, education, and the voluntary sector.I have varied experience, primarily in public service and NGOs but also in the commercial sector, incl. project management, risk, buildings & estates, communications, leadership, and research.My higher educational background is in history, politics, law, and systems thinking, with additional training in business, management, governance, finance, and the military.I am currently particularly interested in urban & rural development, water management, heritage & the arts, and community.I maintain international interests, primarily in Europe, the Americas, South Asia, and the Middle East. I have knowledge of a range of world languages.
