   At Verizon, I built a local GenAI platform that let users upload PDFs and DOCX files and interact with summarization models like DistilBART through a Flask-based UI. I implemented a complete Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline using SentenceTransformers and ChromaDB to retrieve contextually relevant document chunks, which were fed into GPT-3.5 for accurate, grounded answers. I prototyped an interactive Gradio front end with features like model selection, token usage, and prompt tuning controls (temperature, top-k, context length). To ensure long-term accuracy, I developed scripts for embedding drift detection and automatic re-indexing. I also contributed to evaluation (ROUGE/BLEU scoring), added CI with GitHub Actions, and documented the entire workflow in Confluence—enabling smooth onboarding and making it the team’s go-to resource for future GenAI tools.
