About Alessio Medda
I am a researcher in the Aerospace Transportation & Advanced Systems Laboratory (ATAS) of the Georgia Tech Research Institute where I work on applied research in the fields of acoustics, sensors systems and signal processing. I am also a part-time instructor for the Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously, I was a researcher at the the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) in Ft. Rucker, AL working for the Henry M. Jackson Foundation (HJF). Before that, I was a visiting faculty a the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Florida State University. I obtained my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Florida State University and a Laurea (MS equivalent) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cagliari (Italy). I am also the current Chair for the Atlanta Section.
