ABOUT ALESSIA WELCH
Alessia Welch is currently studying Computer Science at Jacobs School of Engineering at UC San Diego as an IDEA Scholar. At UCSD, Alessia works as a CSE Tutor and as a Lead Peer Mentor for CSE-PACE. She serves as the the student representative for the CSE Undergraduate Committee. She is the Director of Finance for UCSD\'s Moot Court Team. This past summer, Alessia interned at Goldman Sachs in Dallas, TX as a Controllers Engineering Summer Analyst, and she is excited to return as a summer analyst for Summer 2024. Alessia is interested in Software Development, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and the intersection between the Environment and Technology. Alessia is a proud graduate of Ursuline Academy of Dallas where she was recognized for her strong technical abilities by receiving the Baccalaureate awards for Computer Science and Mathematics. Alessia is excited to learn from others, and she is a strong leader and team player.
