I have taken on a new and exciting role within the Powertrain Division of FSAE, focusing on the design of the battery pack for our electric vehicle using Autodesk Inventor.What I’m working on-Analysis and optimization of the battery pack layout to ensure performance, safety, and compactness-3D modeling of battery cells, modules, cooling systems, and support structures-Collaboration with the electrical team for the integration of the BMS (Battery Management System) and wiring-Researching solutions to improve thermal efficiency and heat management-Active participation in design reviews and brainstorming sessions with the team.Short-term goals-Complete the first iteration of the battery pack design, meeting technical and safety requirements-Refine my skills in Autodesk Inventor and deepen my knowledge of energy storage systems-Actively contribute to the success of the FSAE team, learning from experienced professionals and colleagues.I am thrilled about this new journey and can’t wait to share the progress and results achieved.
