My expertise lies in Machine Learning. Through my Ph.D. studies, two years of postdoctoral research, two years as an Assistant Professor, and over a decade as a Principal Research Scientist, I have developed a strong foundation in supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning and their applications to complex, real-world challenges.Over the years, I have honed strong mathematical and programming skills and gained extensive experience in applied research, particularly in computer vision (including tracking, background subtraction, facial emotion analysis, and age estimation), affective speech recognition, big data analysis, time series analysis, ranking algorithms, dynamic pricing, and recommendation systems.Beyond applications, I have a deep interest in the theoretical challenges of machine learning and in developing innovative approaches that bridge theory and practice.Last but not least, I lead teams in the machine learning field, shaping the strategic vision and roadmap to drive innovation and impactful solutions.
