ABOUT ALESSANDRO PATICCHIO

Experienced ML Engineer and Data Scientist with a M.Sc. in \"Computer Science and Engineering\" from Politecnico di Milano.During my career I carried out a range of Machine Learning projects, leading them from design, through data gathering, analysis, model development, and final deployment. During the process, I also took care of communicating effectively my results to non-technical stakeholders.I gained proficiency in the main ML libraries, like Pytorch, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, and Sklearn. I have experience designing and implementing modern Deep Learning architectures, like CNNs and Transformers.While nourishing my passion for applying ML research to real-world problems, I have significant experience working on the full spectrum of Data Science projects, from building data collection pipelines, to model design and engineering process, bringing my model from a Jupyter notebook to a fully-fledged service.Proficient in Python, experienced with AWS suite, Machine Learning libraries (Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib), Data platforms (Snowflake, PostgreSQL), MLOps and ML engineering (MLFlow, BentoML, CML, Docker, FastAPI), and developers tools (git, GitHub, dvc).
