About Alessandro Millan
I am currently a Senior at the University of Utah, pursuing a major in Accounting. After undergraduate, my goal is to get my Masters of Accounting and sit for the CPA exam. Currently, I am working as an Internal Controls Intern for PACCAR Parts in their accounting department-I will be with Grant Thornton for an Audit and Assurance Internship in summer 2026. In the spring of 2024, I worked as an Accounts Payable Intern for the University of Utah Health. I am excited to build upon the skills I have already gained and continue to learn more in the accounting industry. Prior to internships, my work experience came from two summers in retail (2021 and 2022) working for Faherty Brand in Seattle, Washington, and as a greenskeeper (summer 2023 and 2024) at Seattle Golf Club, a premier golf course and private club in Seattle. I have learned to work as a team towards one goal. I became personable, welcoming, hard-working, and adaptable during my previous work experience. From August 2023-December 2024, I have served as the house manager and Chaplain/DEI for the Phi Delta Theta-Utah Alpha Chapter. I have learned good decision-making, communication, and leadership skills. I am an expert skier, experienced in weightlifting, and love playing/watching sports of all kinds. More recently, I have picked up golf and began playing as much as possible; I am average at best. If you would like to connect, please feel free!
