ABOUT ALESSANDRO MANDOLINI
I am a passionate Geotechnical Engineer and my expertise is in foundation design, soil-structure interaction and offshore engineering. I have always been a strong advocate of renewables, with a particular interest in offshore wind power. The objective of my PhD studies was very much related to wind turbine foundations, in particular, the research focuses on the effects of a large number of loading cycles on the stiffness properties of granular soils. In the past few years, I have extended my expertise in the industry, mainly working for site investigation for wind farm project and oil & gas developments.
