About Alessandro Tona
Alessandro La Tona is a Compositor Supervisor and passionate FX artist who specializes in film and TV shows. The native Italian attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco as a Visual Effects major in 2012, where he started to work at Studio 400A under Catherine Tate (VFX Supervisor on Fruitvale Station, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Advantageous). After graduating college he started working as Compositor at CoSA VFX until 2023, steadily progressing to the role of Compositor Supervisor. In his time there he contributed to popular TV shows like Westworld, Lucifer, Gotham and many more. Also a few movies titles like The Prom, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and Togo. Alessandro is familiar working with all VFX departments. He has a passion for dynamic simulations and procedural effects, and enjoys the challenges of R&D.
