ABOUT ALESSANDRO BOSO CARETTA

Alessandro Boso Caretta is a partner at DLA Piper in the Litigation & Regulatory Department and he is based in the Rome office. He co-heads the Italian competition practice. He specialises in regulation and competition, both on transactional and contentious matters, with a focus on telecommunications and network industries. He has extensive experience in assisting clients in proceedings before Regulatory and Antitrust Authorities as well as in regulatory and antitrust counselling and litigation. His practice also covers consumers\' protection issues, including the areas of product liability, unfair commercial practices and class actions. He advises on regular basis leading Italian and international clients in the field of telecommunications and network industries. He is adjunct professor at the University of Rome La Sapienza and author of several publications regarding his sector. He regularly speaks at seminars and conferences on competition law and networks industry matters.
