I currently lead trade compliance and facility security functions, advising the CEO and senior leadership on export controls, sanctions, and government security requirements in highly regulated environments.I serve as the Trade Compliance Officer for both U.S. and European operations, with responsibility for export control compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This includes oversight of U.S. export controls under the EAR and ITAR, as well as EU and Belgian export control requirements, including dual-use and sanctions considerations. I work closely with regional stakeholders to ensure regulatory obligations are correctly applied based on jurisdiction and that cross-border operations are conducted compliantly and effectively.I have served as the Facility Security Officer since 2022, with responsibility for security compliance and coordination. This includes supporting FOCI-related mitigation activities, required documentation, internal processes, and stakeholder coordination, and has broadened my exposure to government security requirements and their operational impact.In addition to compliance execution, I serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, program teams, and external partners. I develop governance structures, policies, and procedures, and design scalable processes that protect the business while enabling compliant global growth.I bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to align stakeholders across cultures, time zones, and regulatory frameworks.
