Alessandra Rosa Policarpo is an Analyst and Relationship Manager for the Retail Insurance team within BlackRock’s Financial Institutions Group. She joined BlackRock in August 2024 and supports business development with Life and Annuity insurance providers.Additionally, Alessandra is an active contributor to the firm’s culture, holding leadership roles as Co-Lead of Analyst Alley New York, and as part of the Operating Committees for both WIN (Women’s Initiative Network) and SLN (SOMOS Latinx Network).Alessandra was a Summer Analyst at BlackRock in 2023, during which she was recognized as a BlackRock Founders Scholar, an honor awarded for exceptional community engagement. A first-generation college student from Brazil, she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa at Macalester College, where she double-majored in Economics and Political Science and minored in Latin American Studies.Alessandra holds Series 7 and 66 licenses and is a CFA Level II Candidate.
