Senior expert on low carbon management, environmental sustainability, sustainable mobility, and natural hazards related risks. After having collaborated with University Corsortia, private and public sectors, playing the role of Senior scientific and technical expert on the above fields, she was in charge of developing innovative solutions and products to be delivered to private and public costumers at ENGIE Italia. University degree in Geophysics and environmental Physics at the University of Bologna, Italy, she graduated as PhD in Environmental and Hydraulics Engineering at the University of Dundee, Scotland, awarding the “Fulton prize” for the best PhD in the Civil Engineering Department. Afterward, and until year 2004, she has covered the role of associate researcher at the Imperial College of London (UK) working on wave dynamics laboratory models. In June 2007 she has been nominated by UNESCO/IOC to join the panel of experts for the implementation of guidelines on “Hazard awareness and risk mitigation in Integrated Coastal Area Management (ICAM)”. She also covered the role of Independent Expert on Environmental Technology Verification - ETV Technical Working Group for Joint Research Centre EC. External evaluator and rapporteur for the EC funding programs on environment, climate, transport and energy.
