I help institutions see what they often overlook by clarifying incentives, power dynamics, and the real conditions that determine whether policies succeed. My experience across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia has shown me how policies collide with institutional and community realities, and why many approaches falter despite strong intentions.Looking ahead, my work is shifting toward building clearer and more realistic strategies for natural resource governance. I’m interested in approaches grounded in an honest understanding of structural barriers and institutional behaviour, and in shaping how organisations design and deliver policy in complex, high-stakes environments.
