Trilingual civil engineer (English, Spanish, Serbian) with a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a P.E. license. Broad experience in stormwater management, green stormwater infrastructure planning and design, site civil engineering, utilities coordination, pump/lift station design, water distribution systems, sanitary sewer conveyance, NPDES permitting, Water Quality Management permitting, subsurface exploration and infiltration testing, and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment. Worked on multiple projects for the City of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority (PWSA),Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN), Philadelphia Water Department (PWD), different municipalities/boroughs in Beaver County, PA, federal (NAVFAC and USACE) government projects, and various other developers.Earned a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019. Expert in water quality and environmental engineering with a focus on produced (fracking) water treatment and purification, trace element analysis and methods for Ra-226 removal. During Ph.D. program developed a functionalized proppant for the control of radioactive material in underground phases of hydraulic fracturing. Contributed to engineering solutions and modelling efforts of post-precipitation and co-precipitation of Ra-226 with major sulfate compounds in complex water matrices. Received Master’s and Bachelor\'s Degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Belgrade.
