Engineered an event utilizing player platforms to encourage environmental activism reaching over people and planting trees. Tasks include: idea pitching, procuring sponsors and partners, negotiating terms, creating social media content and schedules, managing partner requests and relationships-Hosted a composting campaign at the Olympic Training Campus with the local government educating hundreds of athletes on zero waste, convincing the facility to implement permanent food waste sorting, diverting 100lbs a day from the landfill-Pioneered USA Rugby’s first rugby clinic with homeless youth. The initiative shared rugby with underprivileged communities while reducing team waste, finding a second life for over 200lbs of clothes and equipment-Co-authored a letter to World Rugby, asking to prioritize climate action. Signed by over 300 professional rugby players around the world, it pushed World Rugby to develop and release its first ever 10 year sustainability strategy-Secured in grants and sponsorships to fund various initiatives.
