I am working on Solar Energy forecasting, Solar Resource Assessment and research on the effects weather systems on solar energy production. Worked as a member of Advisory committee for the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Sun Edison, I have been working at NCAR as a lead researcher on Meteorological systems causing ramp events in wind energy production, conducted research on LIDAR applications of wind energy resource assessment and forecasting, and conducted research on an integrated surface transportation weather observing systems to minimize car accidents.I have developed wind resource assessment software for Natur Ener USA. Versatile and accomplished researcher, with 10 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and several international and national presentations. Possess strong computational, analytical, and software skills, along with mathematics, physics, statistics and engineering background. I am well versed with a number of programming languages, GIS and image processing software, mathematical and statistical packages.
