Currently working as a Hardware & Algorithm Engineer @ Meta for RL (ARVR) Manufacturing Test & Automation. Hard skills include knowledge and experience about product design and testing (Ideation, VModel, POC, EVT, DVT, PVT, & MP), algorithm and software development, optics, computer vision, digital image processing, and source code security.Earned a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering with a research area on privacy & security that combines a bunch of allied fields, including Smart Surveillance @ the Edge using Lite Deep/Machine Learning, Network Security, and Network Architecture (Cloud, Fog, & Edge). In parallel, from May 15, 2021 to December 17, 2021, I worked as a Research Project Assistant at the Research Foundation of SUNY, Binghamton. Furthermore, I worked as Graduate Assistant-(Data Analytics) for Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science @ Binghamton University from August 23, 2017 to May 15, 2021. Moreover, I had served as the Director of the Information Communication Technology Directorate of Mekelle University from October 2012 to October 2015; worked as an Electrical Engineer in Ashegoda Wind Farm project (120MW) from September 2012 to June 2014; worked as SCADA Expert in Adama-II Wind Farm Project (153MW) from June 2013 to December 2015; and Project coordinator and developer in mini ERP Projects. Design, Supervision, Coding, Data Analytics, Testing, and Commissioning were my major responsibilities. I had also worked as an instructor in Mekelle University. I have a tremendous passion for Machine Learning, Computer vision, Algorithms and Software Development, and Hardware Testing with huge experience and skill sets in Data Analytics (Data Analysis, Data Engineering, and Data Science), Networking, Algorithm and Software Development, Computer Vision, Digital Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Project Testing and Commissioning. I have advanced programming skills in Python (I am PCEP, PCAP, & PCPP1) and SQL; But I can also program in R, Matlab, SAS, & C++. In addition, I have a lot of research making skills and experience.
